Overview of new Features in iGO My way 8
3D Terrain and Cityscape Rendering
The visual appearance of the maps in iGO My way is under constant development. Our software engineers have made significant progress in 3D visualization: our maps include shaded topographic elements and building models to provide an even more realistic view. Although only a few big cities have been mapped in 3D so far, we plan to extend this virtual sightseeing feature to more and more cities in the near future.

Advanced POI Management
The advanced POI management of iGO My way allows map data to be complemented with multimedia materials. This offers unique opportunities, ranging from advertising to customized content services. Various POI databases can be integrated into the software, and other navigation-based services can be linked to it more easily. Another fantastic improvement, is that the software can now search for POIs along the planned route and even show how significant detour the selected destination implies. It even indicates entry and exit points for POIs that can be accessed from multiple directions.
Enhanced Guidance
iGO My way gives precise voice prompts in all traffic situations. We have made improvements to our navigation software to more accurately distinguish sharp turns from gentle ones and to track main routes more reliably. The visual elements in the software are also clear-cut. iGO My way can now display lane information to help the driver identify necessary lane changes.
Redesigned User Interface
iGO My way has a brand new user interface. Not only is it more attractive and fashionable, but it also has separate Basic and Expert modes. Basic is for beginners and even those with no technical knowledge can use it easily. The Expert mode, however, can satisfy even the most experienced users with full customization and several color schemes.
Text-to-Speech Function
One of the latest innovations of NavNGo is the Text-to-Speech function that can read out map content and navigation messages in some widely-used languages to make navigation even easier. Our developers are currently working on a voice recognition module to simplify control of the system even further.
