la data de 19.06.1971 s-a nascut un baiat cu numele La data de 19.06.1971 s-a nascut un baiat cu numele "Lesane Parish Crooks". Mama lui, un membru al partidului Black Panther, a fost eliberata cu o saptamana inainte din inchisoare, dandu-i dupa scurt timp numele "Tupac Amaru Shakur".Numele Tupac Amaru vine de la revolutionar perusian si inseamna ceva asemanator cu " sarpe sclipitor "; Shakur inseamna " recunoscator lui Dumnezeu " Tupac nu si-a cunoscut tatal adevarat pana la varsta de 21 de ani. Mutulu Shakur (tatal adevarat al lui Tupac Amaru Shakur ) devine foarte atasat de fiul sau dupa prima lor intalnire. In anul 1986 Tupac si familia sa se muta in Baltimore unde este cunoscut ca MC New York. Tema primei sale melodii a fost problema traficului de arme, si neglijenta parintilor care le ingaduiau copiilor sa umble cu acestea deoarece unu dintre cei mai buni prieteni ai raperului s-a inpuscat din greseala cu o arma de foc. In Baltimore a fost acceptat la "School for the Arts" (Scoala de Arte) ,unde face actorie si se dezvolta mai departe pe planul rapului . In 1988 se muta din nou de data asta in Marin City /San Francisco. Aici incepe sa vandal droguri pentru a-si castiga existenta. In 1990 se imprieteneste cu fondatorul grupului 'Digital Underground'. La inceput a fost angajat ca dansator in fundal dar dup ce in 1991 a fost auzit in melodia "Same song". De aici I colo totul decurge din ce in ce mai frumos I viata lui. Semneaza un contract cu firma de inregistrari Interscope Records. Primele sale albume au fost : 2pacalypse Now Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. Thug Life Me Against The World Doar prin ultimul album "Me Against The World" reuseste sa castige popularitate.Cu acest album, Tupac devine primul raper care a scos un album dublu avand un mare succes (doar in America s-au vandut 6 mlioane de exemplare ). -1992 Apare pentru prima data intr-un film (Juice) in care juca rolul unui raper pe nume Bishop -1993 Este condamnat la 10 zile pentru ca a lovit un alt raper cu o bata de baseball. -1993 Joaca in filmul "Poetic Justice ". personajul pe care il joaca este un tanar postas ce se indragosteste intro femeie ( rolul fiind jucat de Janet Jackson ). -1994 Este condamnat la 15 zile de inchisoare cauza fiind faptul ca l-a atacat pe diretorul ( Allen Hughes ) de la "Menace II Society " deoarece, acesta a cenzurat filmul. -1994 Pe drum spre studioul B.I.G.'s Tonstudio este atacat si inpuscat de 5 ori. Un glont ii atinge capul . Reuseste sa se externeze cu toate ca se afla intr-o stare destul de critica si se prezinta la procesul impotriva lui. Este acuzat de viol de o fata de 19 ani. Este condamnat de data asta la 4 ani jumate de inchisoare dar dupa 8 luni este eliberat pe cautiune. (1,4 milioane ). Proprietarul casei de discuri "Deathrow Records" ii plateste cautiunea (Suge Night ). Pentru plata cautiunii Tupac trebuie sa semneze un contract cu casa de discurii lui Suge Night. Atunci apare si conflictul raperii din partea de Vest a Americii si cei din partea de Est. Tupac invinuieste pe Christopher E. Wallace (Notorious B.I.G.), Sean Combs (P.Diddy) si Randy Walker (Stretch) cum ca ei ar cei care ar fi planuit ambuscada din fata studiolui B.I.G.s Tonstudio In data de 7 Septembie Tupac cu prietenul lui Suge Night vor sa mearga la Club 662 pentru a sarbatorii victoria lui Tyson. Pe drum, la un semafor, langa masina lui Suge Night opreste un Cadilac alb. Deodata din Cadilac incep sa se traga fouri de arma asupra lui Tupac. Acesta este nimerit de patru ori. Doua gloante ii penetreaza pieptul, altul mana iar ultimul il atinge in stomac. Sapte zile lupta Tupac pentru viata lui. Doctorii au fost nevoiti sa ii scoata un plaman. Dupa sapte zile doctorii anunta ca raperul e inafara oricarui pericol. Dar deodata neasteptat este anuntata moartea acestuia in ziua de 13 Septembrie 1996 la ora 4:03. Chiar si dupa atatia ani nu este sigur daca moartea lui este o minciuna sau un adevar. Despre Cadilacul alb nu sa mai aflat nimic iar investigatia mai continua si astazi.
